Good morning everyone. I usually do not like to post things outside of the historical posts on here, however given that the site is going to be overhauled slightly I rather give you a heads up on what is about to happen. First, yes the videos and posts for the conventions are still coming. I wrapped up the 2016 versions of PAX and doing the initial edits to PAX South 2017, you can expect them coming through in the near future. What is going to change is how I am handling the credits.
What I have been doing before is including the name of the persons under the description and then having a bracket to showcase their current position and a social media link where you can find out more about them. Going forward I am going to use a more authority approach to this so that is something where to change I would just need to update one page instead of all the pages that they are featured on.
This means that the credit will link to a blog post in where I am going to include information about them in longer form and have their social links included. What this will mean is that on the RSS feed you will soon see posts of a person’s name to this information. WordPress does not have the ability for me to hide these posts to you. So if you see some weird posts about non convention related things, that is why they are there.
If you are reading this, thank you. I purposely do not track the amount of people that use the RSS or website since I have better things to do then spy on what you look up on the internet. This project can seem lonely at times since I also disable all of the comments to every post (single person here, do not want to be responsible to spammers and jerks who try to ruin the fun).
