ConnectiCon 2012 – Video Games as Literature: Towards a New Criticism

Dave and Ajay presented a great discussion at ConnectiCon 2012 on video games, literary criticism, use of violence, player interface (e.g., down the barrel of a gun), and so forth.

In Dave’s own words:

Hope you guys remember that I’m doing a panel at Connecticon with my old roommate Ajay. It’s titled “Video Games as Literature: Towards a New Criticism” and we are going to talk all about how a lot of games criticism is pretty crappy, and why, and what we can do about it.

According to this handy schedule. You can see us tomorrow (Friday) at 5:30 pm in Panel Room 7!
